Nice post! Meditation and mindfulness are extremely important to health care systems as the average human age increases. The insidious progression of dementia is terrible to witness, and i like that you've highlighted the point of meditation being a practice; small, consistent efforts are going to be our best chance to effectively defend against the myriad pathophysiological events that cause neurodegeneration.

Thanks! Realizing it's a practice is key for people starting out to not lose motivation because at first, it doesn't feel like you're accomplishing much - but you are!
