RE: California Doctors Stand Up To The State: Dr. Matthew Pautz

in #health7 years ago

People die every day that’s a fact of life. The government doesn’t need to be involved in telling doctors how to run their practices. If they are board certified and hold a license then there is no need for any form of government getting involved. The doctor talked about how the administrative cost of healthcare is 75% of the price we pay. Only 25% goes to clinical professionals. The government has created so many regulations and barriers that 75% of healthcare is actually administration? That’s ridiculous! The government is the exact reason why healthcare in this country is so damn expensive. I can’t even get an X-Ray without insurance even though the real price of an X-Ray is less than $25. Why should doctors or nurses be forced to do more unnecessary paperwork that only takes away from their relationship/rapport with the patient. Nurses and doctors already spend half of their shift charting information to pacify federal standards why add more unnecessary things to their plate?

In this instance it will save more lives and that's what doctors commit a oath to. If it wasn't a epidemic and thousands of children weren't left parentless I'd tend to agree with you. Plus it's the fact that plenty of doctors and pharmacist have been arrested for prescribing/filling way more then should be normal. It's also another one of those things were a few people spoil it for the whole bunch, they take their prescriptions to different states and pharmacies to try and skirt the system. You have to care about the kids being left behind to see how something like this is more important then the regulation.
