To describe what a bunion looks like and where on the body would you find one, then you’re looking for a lump on the big toe. It’s unfortunate because it isn’t until pain comes from some foot disorder that people see a doctor.
Just because the feet aren’t often seen is more reason to keep a check on them from time to time. Trust me guys, nail fungus, corns and calluses are ugly and rarely come without pain.
A bunion reflects an alteration in the bony structure of the foot and is not easily concealed depending on size. When the big toe begins edging towards the second toe this is the start and sure indication of a bunion that’s about to, or, has happened. (transformation of bones leaning towards one another signifies bones out of alignment).
Bunion Reasons:
(((arthritic changes or bone malalignment)))
Hallux Valgus (side of the big toe) ---Hallux Rigidus (the top of the big toe).
Hallux valgus is linked more to female feet supposedly because of high heels, while flat feet, ligament looseness and rheumatoid arthritis is mentioned too.
Continue to wear shoes that put pressure on the toes especially the big toe hosting a bunion... mark my words you will regret it...OUCH!
Tight footwear will worsen the problem and especially more so if your line of work insists standing for hours on end.
Toe deformities occur a lot from continuous pressure on the toes, which then the expected suffering is either burning-numbness-swelling/inflammation- redness. Neglect your feet then prepare yourself because there's a possibility of a corn, callus or even an ingrown toenail coming. Depending on the stage reached with any of these, pain may restrict movement.
In Most Cases Of Ingrown Toenails Turned Nasty They’ve Warranted A Doctor Or Chiropodists Attention.
Not everyone’s bunion is the same as the next persons some might come bigger and fast while others the opposite
3 Bunion Self Help Tips:
- Wear shoes that allow feet space so the toes can be twiddled.
- Settle a bunion pad over the bunion to prevent it being touched by shoe leather or other.
- Reduce soreness with an ice pack.
Listen up guys, regardless of what disease and whether it includes the feet or not, get it treated early. Allowing a disease to progress---expect complications such as making the disease harder to cure, that is IF it can be CURED after the delay in getting the bunion treated.
Take Care
