3 Foods to Increase your ENERGY!

It's late in the afternoon and you have hit a wall. Your energy levels are down and your concentration is poor. YOU need a pick me up.

DON'T reach for that sugary fix, Try these 3 foods to keep you going for the rest of the day.

Bananas:
They are a great source of energy for your body, It's packed with nutrients like potassium, Vitamin B, Vitamin C and Fiber to mention a few. It will give you energy and help keep you regular. I like to have at least one a day as it keeps me going for the rest of the day.

Nuts:
I like to eat a handful of nuts everyday. I prefer Almonds, however you can include other nuts if you like. Almonds are a valuable source of Vitamin E, Vitamin B and Magnesium. Magnesium has been known to calm nerves, help you sleep and aid in muscle soreness. Nuts are a great source of energy and they are easy to take with you each day.

Oranges:
When you eat Oranges they will release energy to your body slowly. YOU won't get the sudden HIGH's and drastic LOW's that you will get from those high sugar alternatives. They are absolutely packed with Vitamin C about 130% of your daily requirement.
On a hot day they are so refreshing and tasty.

True! Sometimes I feel like I could live just out of bananas.

I remember on one of the Australian current affairs programs there was a story about a lady that only eat bananas. i cant remember how long ago it was but she looked fantastic.

For me a cup of strong coffee do the job :-)

I never go with out my coffee in the morning. I always have it with my Banana.
