Everyone knows about the benefits from water, it takes part in almost all metabolic processes of the body, removes toxins, cleanses the kidneys, normalizes blood pressure, delivers useful substances to the organs, moisturizes the skin, etc.
But why tea is not a water?
As soon as something is added to the water, or it is heated and brought to a boil, it loses its structure. So, this kind of liquid is practically devoid of what makes water so important. In addition to this, The body spends a lot of energy on that for the allocation of water proper from the drink and the assimilation of as much benefit as possible. But in the end we lose energy where we should have received it only. Also, teas and coffee are diuretics, so they can't be instead of water, they even contribute to its loss.
What about natural drinks: juices and milk?
It is only about freshly squeezed juices and real milk. Of course, these are very healthy drinks, so you can use them as well, but we need at least 1.5 liters of water daylight (of course 2-2.5 even better). So:
- we physically can't drink as many juice and milk as water
- Juice/milk contains water, but not 100%. Therefore, the amount of juice/milk is not equal to the same amount of water.
- it will be much more expensive
- there is a lot of sugar in sweet juices, sour juices can destroy your stomach
What to do if you do not want to drink?
1. Drink a glass (half a glass) of water every time you want to have a snack. We often confuse hunger with thirst
2. Carry a small bottle of water, each time refilling it. Place a glass or a bottle of water on the bedside table. Often we do not drink, only because there is no water just next to us. And we are too lazy to get up and go to the kitchen only for 2 sips.
3. Add to the water pieces of lime, lemon, orange, cucumber, mint, berries - whatever you prefer, it will make it much tastier.
4. Buy a beautiful shaker, where you can pour ordinary water. Or a glassy one - it will look great with water and berries inside, pieces of fruit will easily pass into the neck.
5. Install the mobile application, for example, water balance. Perhaps after seeing how few of water you drink, it will somehow encourage you to drink more.
