My biggest Challenge in the morning, getting out of bed.

in #health7 years ago

I don't know if many people can relate to it.
I admit this is also in part my own fault.
Because I go to bed way way way way too late.
I should sleep at least 2 hours earlier or so.

Usually, my nights go like this.
I go to bed, I fall asleep pretty quickly
if my stomach is not playing up.
And then around 5 am in the morning
the sun is starting to rise.

My cat, of course, sees that and he wants to go outside.
So he starts whining in front of my door.
Of course, me being way too tired just chase him away xD.
Then he runs down meauwing downstairs.
then sometimes its quiet for a bit, and 5 minutes later
he sits in front of my door again. This repeats itself
5 or 6 times until I am awake enough to walk downstairs
and kick my cat outside. He is very sweet beside that tough.

I'm finally able to go back to sleep,
until around 8 or 9 am.
And I wake up well my mind wakes up.
But my body does not really cooperate with me.
just don't want to get up while there is so much stuff to do.
keep dozing on and off for maybe an hour before I get myself
to completely wake up. I don't know what it is.
But it is as if my mind or body is too numb
to take action at those moments.

Thinking about a way to do something about it.
If I get that back on track I'll let you all know
how I did it.

Hope you are having a nice
and positive day
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hey,

I used to have the same problem in the mornings, it ruined my energy for the whole day coming since i usually woke up around 6 in the morning and then went back to bed to sleep till 8/9, waking up even more exhausted.

I solved it by getting into a morning routine, started with doing 30 minutes of exercising right after i woke up(no matter the time), followed by a cold shower right after.
It helped me a lot, fresh start and more energy for the rest of the day.
It might take some time to get used to it but it will defenitely improve your sleeping pattern.

In case the cat keeps bugging you, i suggest you get a little door so he can go out when he wants?

Anyway, hope this helps a bit, good night;)

Hey buddy! I used to be exactly like this. And I still am. But I figured out a way to handle it, and it fucking works wonders. I haven't snoozed for a second for over 2 and a half years.
