I am so confused with all the information on different diets, foods, lifestyles. I feel as though everything is bad these days! I mean, I read that cows milk is bad so I switched to soy milk, but soy is harmful as well, so the next alternative is almond milk, but that doesn't have enough calcium! should we eat meat, or fish, or have a plant based diet? organic or non organic! everyone has a different opinion, and there are so many studies out there that go against each other! since when has it been so freaking complicated to feed ourselves and our families! if anyone has found something that they think is the healthiest way to go pleaseeeeeeeeeee let me know! thanks
Great article
I think there are many healthy ways to eat. I like the ideas put forth in Blue Zones (a book about people who live much longer than average and what they eat). I also think the Whole30/Paleo people are onto something with "It starts with Food."
It's easy to agree on things that everyone should probably limit - highly processed grains, sugar, processed fats. If you are shopping the perimeter of the grocery store, you are probably doing just fine.
