For over 4000 years, Litchi chinensis also known as lychee, has been cultivated in China. This fruit species of the soapberry family thrives in tropical climates so countries like Thailand cultivate it in abundance. The lychee is specially unique being the only member of its genus and its ultra fragrant and sweet taste explodes with delightful pleasure. Most people fall in love with this fruit at first bite. In addition, it's also known as the fruit of love through Asia. If the timing is right, I can seriously eat a kilo of lychee to myself in 1 outing!

Words of Caution
