The Temperorary Enjoyment but An Everlasting Regret: The Dangers of STD| Learn about it and how to avoid it.

Sex is important in order for a sexually-reproducing organism save its species from extinction. This is one of the rules of survival.

There are some specialized chemicals created by your body to feel arousal and pleasure from sex in order for you to become interested and active in it.

Sexual desire is normal. It starts with the physical attraction, leading into lust. The desire starts within teenage due to the hormonal changes of the body. The teenagers get interested in sex. That is why, the teenage pregnancy continuously augments in the society and different sexually transmitted diseases are present in some teenagers nowadays.

I was a fifth grader back then when I learned about the types of sexually transmitted diseases. These diseases are deadly. Some of them are cannot be cured nor treated. We, humans, should think first before getting involved in a sexual contact.

If you are asking, why I am talking about STD today, I just talked with my parents earlier. They shared to me about some stories that they taught to other people long before. The stories were about temporary enjoyments leading to endless regrets.

There is one only that went into my mind. The Dangers of STD.

Where Did All STD's Began?

Humans were healthy long before. They ate natural foods and drank clean water. Besides, the heat of the sun was not that severe unlike today. According to some studies, the early humans get involved in different types of agriculture. They learned to cook foods in order to get more healthy outcomes. Also, their population across the world grew easily. The sex became their prominent hobby. But the bad sanitation brought them mircrobially contamination into their bodies. Some of civilazations suffered epidemics, leading to the idea of herbal medications and control of food consumptions.

The prostitution was practiced in early civilizations. Until now, there are prostitutes walking across the streets. The prostitutes long before were believed to have bad sanitation for their hygienes and improper sexual contacts for their clients, developing diseases. Even they were sick, they were still working until the doctors discovered the existence of sexually transmitted diseases among the sexually active population.

What Are The Sexually Transmitted Diseases?

Sexually transmitted diseases are common among those who are sexually active and have multiple partners. These diseases are deadly due to lifetime effects like weak immunine system and infertility.

Here are some examples of STDs:

Chlamydia- It is common on women than men. It cause pelvic inflammatory disease for women and even infertility. If you have this, you will experience burning sensation while peeing and may reshape your sexual organs.

Gonorrhoea- The symptoms are just like Chamydia. It may cause lower abdominal pain also. The people who are infected with it will not feel any symptom sometimes but can pass the disease to their children.

Syphilis - There will be a growth of warts in the genital region. Some sores will appear on the vagina for women. And in the following years of contamination, there will be no symptoms until it will be a tertiary type where the nervous system is greatly affected.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus - It is the deadliest disease in the STDs list. It weakens the immune system, making different diseases be capable of entering a victim's body easily. It may cause cancer and infertility. Sometimes, no symptoms happen for years until it will develop into AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome).

These are just the examples. There are more STDs out there.

How Are The STDs Passed From One Person To Another?

There is a research that says most of the Filipinos believe that STDS are passed from one person to another by sharing foods with an infected. It is funny to think about that. Like what its name says, it is sexually transmitted.

But do not be comfortable with that. It can also be transferred by petting and kissing (this only for those STDS that can be transferred orally). Also, sharing needles with an infected person is one of the factors of having STD. A prick injury from an unknown needle is a great caution for a healthy person to be highly prone to STD.

It can be passed from mother to child too. The saliva of an infected person is not really great danger for contamination but except, if the saliva is infected of blood.

What Are The Treatments or the Cure?

How To Avoid Having STDs?

First of all, do not have a sexual intercouse with a person you didn't know. Learn how to say no if someone convince you. If you cannot avoid, use condoms in order to avoid the interchange of fluid. Also know your partner better by going together to doctors and knowing each other's medical histories.

You may undergo into some tests in order to make sure you do not have STDs. If you are free from it, make your life better by caring of your hygiene.

Hygiene is the foundation of the better living. If you care for it, the strong your immune system is. Also, be mentally brave whenever it comes to arousing scenes. Say no firmly to heinous activities and avoid engaging with friends who are just new and unfamiliar to you.

What Could be the Reason of the Existence of STDs?

My mother theorized that STDs are created by the world in order to eradicate the unrightful sexual desires. Because lust is one of the sinful things in the world, there might be a punishment as a response from the natural world. The existence of STDs is not a curse but it is a verse that should be written in the universe.
