"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food."
-Hippocrates
Growing up I had a lot of friends who were picky eaters. Most of the time what they hated was anything which was green. Till today I cannot find a lot of people who like broccoli or celery etc. I personally am not a fan of celery either. It has always been my effort though to eat healthy and hence I try to sneak vegetables like spinach, broccoli, celery into my food in a delicious manner.
In an effort to carry on this legacy of my own I came up with this recipe.
Ingredients:
Celery
Potatoes
Green bell pepper
Red bell pepper
Onions
Tomato
Ginger
Garlic powder
Oregano
Salt
Paprika powder
Turmeric powder
Soy sauce
Pineapple
Rice
Recipe:
Chop all the vegetables mentioned above into sizes that you prefer. Now, in a pan heat up some oil and add the chopped onions to it. Add a pinch of salt to it. When the onions turn golden then add all the other vegetables and the spices mentioned above according to your taste. After 5-8 minutes add the rice and the pineapple pieces and add enough water to cook the entire mixture. Cook this for 20-25 minutes on a low flame. Annnnnd that is pretty much it. It's one of the easiest recipes ever. And you get to eat all kinds of vegetables through it.
Don't hate it till you try it!
