Good research. I would recommend iron bisglycinate instead since it is more bioavailable and has less gastrointestinal side effects. Always take your iron supplement with a Vitamin C for better absorption ( there are good supplements that incorporate this for convenience). And get tested again after 3 months of supplementation.
