The Cure to type-2 Diabetes?

Diabetes is one of the most widespread chronic diseases in modern times and it is oftentimes understood to be caused by a high sugar consumption, and to be an irreversible medical condition that can only be managed (using insulin shots) but never reversed.
However, recent scientific advances show that this may not be the case and that diabetes type 2 is actually caused by a high intake of fat, scientifically described as "intramyocellular lipids" (fats within the cells).

Dr. Neal Barnard of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM.org) is a leading diabetes reversal pioneer, and he explains that diabetes type 2 is a condition where, unlike type 1, the body can and does produce insulin, but when the insulin transports the glucose (the preferred fuel of body cells), the entry-point to the cell is clogged by fat. He likens this to having a lock jammed with a gum, preventing the entry of a key into the keyhole.

Dr. Barnard has scientifically proven that by avoiding fatty foods and introducing foods richer in fiber and yes, carbohydrates, insulin resistance drops and diabetes markers vastly improve! This was clearly shown in a randomized, controlled, 74-wk clinical trial (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2677007/).
