Essential Oils To Avoid Using During Sun Exposure

Good Afternoon Steemit Community! I am gratefully glad that the sun is starting to shine and it's beginning to get a little warmer out (sucks I don't live in warm areas, such as Miami (sad face)) but anyhow, since it's getting warmer out, that means it'll be time to bring out the spring clothes and then soon after that, the summer clothes. That also means, your skin will be more exposed to sun. Since our skin will be more exposed to sun, some people may catch some sort of reaction, most times causing sunburns. So it is always important to apply some type of moisturizer or even sun screen to protect your skin from the UV light.

As well, these days essential oils are becoming much more popular. Some individuals use it for multiple reasons and they are also incorporated in some of our beauty products. There are some essential oils that do need to be used with caution, especially the oils that are suggested to avoid during sun exposure.

Some essential oils to avoid during sun exposure are:

Bergamot (Citrus Bergamia, Citrus Aurantium)
Cumin
Grapefruit
Lemon
Dill
Lime
Bitter, Orange (cold pressed)
Orange, sweet (distilled)
Rue
Mandarin Leaf
Angelica Root

Those essential oils are some of the oils to avoid during sun exposure. I do recommend doing further research for a complete list. There is a list of essential oils that also should be completely avoided and I suggest for you to do further research on that as well.

Note: Don't quote me but I think if the essential oil is diluted enough, it may be okay to use just because not as much essential oil was used in the product. Still look for further information!

I believe it is crucial to be aware and knowledgeable of the products you use because not all products are safe for your skin nor is it internally.
