Stroke otherwise known as Cardiovascular Accident (CVA) occurs when the blood flowing to an area or a portion of the brain is cut off. When it happens like that the cells within that area of the brain which was supposed to receive oxygen and nutrients from the blood that the vessel would have delivered suffers from hypoxia and begins to die off.
