RE: How much do you focus on joy?

in #health8 years ago (edited)

I dont know you ... but just writing that what you say is true isnt enough ...
Everything in our society makes us focus on all the bad things ...
on what we don`t have on how much "joy" other people have ...
on money
on material things ...
even on friendships and status ...
I see sometimes people embracing some sort of spirituality ... but even that is "trendy" or "in fashion" therefore itz not real ...
true joy comes from somewhere else ...
(not a fan of the pantheism that is promoted these days ... we are all one and all that ...)

Sort:

I think it's all about your choice and the mindset :)

yes ... but not really

I beleave that everything you think should be challenged in every possible way
That is how you grow and become a better version of yourself ...
You see even religion ( at least the Orthodox Christians ... I can`t speak for others ...) urges you to become better to use everything at your disposal to be a better human being
So in conclusion ... I think that it is really hard to make good choices on your own without a set of tested principles (the same it is impossible to navigate without a compass or a point of sufferance.
