RE: ADSactly Personal - Optometrics: A new hope for legasthenia

in #health7 years ago

@adsactly AMAZING and interesting post. What a shame that doctors don't know about this and insurance doesn't pay. Such is the case here in the U.S. too. We have our own similar story. It's so important to share these things to make others aware. Awareness and public pressure will eventually change the current system - We are missing out on so much that could help a lot of people. So happy to hear this worked for you son and that he is 'happy' reading again - I know this much make you feel happy, too and take a huge weight off. I've always heard dyslexic children are very intelligent (more than average)....sometimes are hurdles become our strongest assets and make us stronger. Some of our most innovative thinkers, inventors, scientists, musicians had handicaps that led them to their greatness ;) Fact. Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful post - very helpful. Have a great day!

THX! Sad to hear about your story. Wishing you the best to find a working solution for yourself.
OFC you are 100% right that awareness and some pressure will help improve the situation for those in need. Especially when there are "low budget" ways around a much bigger spendings.

@pollux.one Our situation got better with that path less followed. I've had that experience many times with more serious situations. There are some wonderful therapies out there! I'm a believer! ;) Thank you for your comment and words. I agree that health should be more 'budget friendly'.
