Hallo steemian friend wherever you are, may the health is always with you. On this occasion I want to continue my post yesterday about how to improve the way the brain performance of the 3rd part. And if you want to read the 2nd part, you can visit the post here..👉How to increase brain power. (Part 2).
7. Optimize your intestinal flora.
Your intestine is your "second brain", and intestinal bacteria send information to the brain through the vagus nerve, the tenth cranial nerve that moves from the brain stem to the enteric nervous system.
There is a close connection between the intestinal intestinal abnormalities and the abnormalities of brain development, and just like neurons in the brain, you also have neurons in the gut - including neurons that produce serotonin-like neurotransmitters, which are also found in the brain and connected to your mood.
Simply put, intestinal health affects your brain function, psyche, and attitude, because everything is connected and interdependent on one another.
The bacteria in the intestine are active and integrated with your body, and are highly dependent on your diet and susceptible to your lifestyle.
If you consume too many processed foods and sugary drinks, your intestinal bacteria will be slightly threatened because processed foods will destroy both microlores and all kinds of sugars are the feed of the bad bacteria.
- Limit the amount of sugar and eat the processed, eat traditional fermented foods (rich in good bacteria), take probiotic supplements and breastfeed your baby is a good way to optimize the intestinal flora and actively support the health of your brain.
8. Take vitamin B12.
Lack of vitamin B12 is known as "canary in the coalmine" for a healthy future for your brain, and recent research has found the importance of vitamin B12 to keep your mind sharp.
According to recent research, people who are deficient in vitamin B12 will be worse on their cognitive test results, as well as have smaller brain sizes, thus concluding the lack of vitamins contributes to brain shrinkage.
Decreased memory and ability to think are two important signs that you are short of vitamin B12 intake, and an important indication to better maintain brain health.
A study in Finland found that people who ate foods rich in vitamin B12 could lower the risk of Alzheimer's in their elderly.
At any increase in vitamin B12 (holotranscobalamin) will reduce Alzheimer's risk by 2%. The study also showed that supplementation using vitamin B, including B12, helps slow the decline in brain function in the elderly with mild cognitive impairment (decreased brain function is a major characteristic of Alzheimer's disease).
Vitamin B12 deficiency affects the decreased absorption of nutrients from food sources. Blood tests performed for vitamin B12 do not always indicate the status of B12, so consider the foods you consume as a practical alternative instead of a blood test.
B12 can naturally be found from animal sources of food. Examples such as seafood, beef, chicken, pork, milk, and eggs. If your animal food intake is not sufficient, get it with a B12 supplement. The price is not expensive and certainly will not poison the body.
- There is a unique technology under your tongue, this technology helps you to absorb vitamins into the capillaries that are under your tongue.
9. Listening to music.
- The theory that has been circulating very long this shows that listening to music can improve your brain ability; You may have heard it as "Mozart Effect," which suggests that we listen to classical music to make us smarter. Sure enough, research shows that listening to music while doing something can increase cognitive levels and affect a person's verbal skills. In this study, signs of improvement in the area of verbal influences become two times greater after listening to music than when not listening to music.
- Listening to music is also associated with increased cognitive function and improves mental focus on adult health, so listen to music wherever you can.
10. Give your mind a challenge.
One simple method to improve brain function is to always practice. The size and structure of neurons and their relationship between them will change with your practice.
This can include reading a book, traveling, learning a musical instrument or speaking in a foreign language, or participating in a social community.
11. Do aerobic brain.
Providing a puzzling exercise can help keep your brain fit. Do something as simple as thinking about the name of the artist whose name begins with the letter A, crosswords or playing chess is also a good idea to train your brain.
Research also shows that when we're surfing the internet, we're activating certain areas of the brain that deal with decision makers and the reasons are a bit complicated. Unlike passive watching television, using the internet can improve your brainpower.
Well, that's 11 ways to improve brain performance that I can write from part 1 through 3. If this article is useful for all of you, do not forget to upvote and in resteem, so our other friends also know.
