Homemade gummies - an EASY and HEALTHY snack ๐Ÿฌ

Tart Cherry Gummies! I like the flavor of tart cherry juice, but other juices would work as well (give it a try). Easy to make!

INGREDIENTS:

๐Ÿ’1 cup 100% tart cherry juice
๐Ÿ’ 2 TBSP plain gelatin
๐Ÿ’1 TBSP honey (optional +/- ๐Ÿฏ)

DIRECTIONS:

๐Ÿ‘‰In a small saucepan, add the juice and sprinkle the gelatin over the top. Wait a min to allow the powder to be absorbed (it will look like a gritty film on the surface) then whisk to combine

๐Ÿ‘‰On the stovetop, heat the liquid slowly on medium heat until the gelatin is dissolved (looks thin and no longer grainy). Your mixture should be steaming, but not boiling

๐Ÿ‘‰Once it reaches this stage, turn off the heat and whisk in the honey (optional)

๐Ÿ‘‰ Pour into a glass baking dish (I used a 3 cup Pyrex)

๐Ÿ‘‰Cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (I usually do overnight)

๐Ÿ‘‰ Cut into squares

๐Ÿ‘‰Eat!

You can also pour into molds or use cookie cutters on the chilled baking dish to make it more fun ๐Ÿ˜‰
