Tart Cherry Gummies! I like the flavor of tart cherry juice, but other juices would work as well (give it a try). Easy to make!
INGREDIENTS:
๐1 cup 100% tart cherry juice
๐ 2 TBSP plain gelatin
๐1 TBSP honey (optional +/- ๐ฏ)
DIRECTIONS:
๐In a small saucepan, add the juice and sprinkle the gelatin over the top. Wait a min to allow the powder to be absorbed (it will look like a gritty film on the surface) then whisk to combine
๐On the stovetop, heat the liquid slowly on medium heat until the gelatin is dissolved (looks thin and no longer grainy). Your mixture should be steaming, but not boiling
๐Once it reaches this stage, turn off the heat and whisk in the honey (optional)
๐ Pour into a glass baking dish (I used a 3 cup Pyrex)
๐Cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (I usually do overnight)
๐ Cut into squares
๐Eat!
You can also pour into molds or use cookie cutters on the chilled baking dish to make it more fun ๐
