So my wife and I are on a ketogenic diet and I love my sweets, so cutting out sugars has been hard on me but losing 20lbs in less then 2months by cutting carbs out of my diet and only consuming 25 total carbs a day or less has totally helped not only lose weight, but I have more energy now, less fatigued and my feet haven’t been hurting me as much... so my wife and I came up with this cookie to stay within our diet but also give me the chance to have something sweet, hope you all enjoy
This cookie recipe has no sugar added and has less then .8 net grams of carbs per cookie and is just like a sugar cookie
What you will need is
1.5 cup coconut flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup tsp salt
12 tbsp butter heat in bowl in microwave
2/3 cup coconut oil heat in bowl in microwave
1.5 cup low carb sweetener we use stevia
8 large eggs
2 tbsp almond milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
Set oven at 360 put parchment paper on pan and cook for 7-10 minutes depending on how you like your cookies, roll the dough into 1.5in balls then flatten them out a bit on the pan
This cookie in the image is the same recipe above besides we added no sugar added jam/jelly ontop of them plus did a little crumble of the dough on top of the jelly, this cookie does have natural sugars in it from the fruits in the jam/jelly I’m unsure how much per cookie so if you need to watch ur sugar intake make sure your aware of how much is in the jam/jelly you put on
Looks really good to be low carb and no sugar added cookie. Thank You for sharing.
This one in the image is still low carb, but has natural sugars from the jam/jelly, still falls within my diet but has more sugars then I prefer, and yes it’s freaking delicious for sure
Thank you for the clarification. Keep up the great posts.
Hey have tried incorporating Omad? I couldn't hang on to the keto diet cause i got bad cravings, but i hear if you mix Omad and keto it could boost your fat burning!
No I havent but I will look into it, I actually don’t have cravings anymore for really anything except these cookies, what did u have cravings for?
Its honestly a game changer. No joke it'll help with cravings if you have any. I craved bread lol when doing keto. Like i could smell the yeast in the bread isle.
