The Cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified was an emblem of curse, shame and death. When Jesus took a dive into the mission of saving man, these become the climax of His experiences. He was made a curse; He endured the shame of the cross and surrendered to death. All of these so that man can have a reversal of curse to blessing, death to life and shame to glory.
The Cross of Jesus Christ stood for all the negatives for Christ but the flip side stands for victory for believers in Christ. Are you born again? Then, live in the reality of the victory embedded in the Cross of Jesus.
One may ask how? The answer is in vs 14 of above Bible text. It is “through Faith”. This is the victory that overcomes. Anywhere and anytime you are faced with troubles there is the sure way of escape and it is the way of the Cross of Christ.
You do not have any business with failings. Your victory is by faith in the finished work of Christ on His Cross. All you need to do is to behold Him in faith and receive blessings, life and glory.
Let us pray
Lord, I affirm my victory in the finished work of Christ on His Cross.
I receive by faith my freedom from all encumbrances in Jesus Name. Amen.**
