RE: Words You Don’t Find in Hebrew: Fair

in #hebrew7 years ago (edited)

Every time I say something isn't fair or ask the question "why", I know I am in trouble. Every. Time.

The love and mercy of God is not fair - He gives and gives and doesn't always receive it back. Jesus on the cross wasn't fair either. To the unspiritual, these seem unjust/unfair.

The path God pre ordained, for anyone who hears and listens, is the same path for all. There are no other paths. To me, this is fair. There is one way to get to the destination and it keeps things very simple. God doesn't discriminate. Where you are, or where you've been, or what you are yet to do, or how much money you might have, or if you've been in jail or did or do drugs does not matter. Everyone walks the same path. To some this isn't "fair". But that's their self righteous judgement talking. Unfortunately some veer off and are lost. Few keep on following.

Good food for thought here Lydon. I'll stop now because I'm on a roll and I probably make sense to me only :)

I agree...I can add nothing more :)

I was ready to keep reading - that was great! There are words we read where the Spirit rejoices at the truth on the page. You shared the truth beautifully.
