Meutuah is one of the words in the Acehnese language. This word meutuah sounds special for the Acehnese because the word Meutuah is said only in certain conditions and places. The word meutuah is usually spoken by a mother to her child or spoken by a father to her child when a child does shakes hands with his parents. When a child shakes hands with his parents and kisses his parents' hands, when that is the father or mother takes out the word Meutuah to his child. This also applies when a teacher shakes hands with his disciple or an older brother with his sister.

This word Meutuah means a Good Person or a person who is good in character or the opposite of the name of a bastard. The word meutuah is directly related to the culture of Aceh people in shaking hands.
