Hi everyone. Just joined Steemit. I have read a few of the posts that people have made here before deciding to join and it seems like a very positive community. Perhaps this will become the next Facebook, and if so I get the privilege of being an early adopter. Even in the case of Steemit dying, hopefully I can take this away as a cool experience. As made obvious by this being my first post, I am quite new to this, (haven't even set up a digital wallet yet :/ ) so if you guys could link some how to's and beginners guides to Steemit that would be great.
I don't exactly know what my plan is to build a following, obviously I'm savvy enough to know about this place and join, but I might post about some Raspberry pi networked arcade things that I am working on, tutorials and the like. But that's for later, just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I know how hard it is as a fresh account so my advice would be to give @MinnowPowerUp a go as you can earn up to 30% more steem power than just powering up! It's a subscription based daily upvote bot that draws its power from a delegation pool. I have more info on my experience with the system in this post where I explain how I earn over $1 a day from upvotes.
