I just joined Steemit today and that was one of the first things I was wondering about. I can't stand the F4F whoring on Insta and wondered what would prevent that here. Great post, thank you.

Nothing prevents it here but it does not work at all. What I mean by it not working is the whales will ignore you, and no one will read your posts let alone upvote them. Make your writing make them want to follow you.
