It may turn out that it is the bots, and that will lead to some tough decisions. But as I read in one comment, Steem is really all about adding value to interactions and getting rewarded for really appreciating each others work so it may be that the bots are counter productive. Monetizing the process is a double edged sword, monetizing spreads the currency thereby increasing its volume and apparent traffic but allowing it undermines the whole purpose of the Steem experiment. resteemed lets see what happens.
