RE: How much steem power is required to reach 1 cent for upvotes?

in #help7 years ago (edited)

The right answer depends upon a few factors.

You don't have to guess! You can go to steemworld.org/@YourUserName

i.e. your page would be https://steemworld.org/@cryptorise

At the top left, you will see your voting power because that will impact your vote value. To the immediate right is a chart with your voting power at different percentages of VP. Below that, you can find a slider that you can adjust to simulate your VP at different SP values. Good luck.

I will tell you that I cheeked your page, and you voted too much. Your VP is down to about 19 percent. It's a good rule of thumb not to let it get below about 80 percent, especially when you don't have a lot of VP to spare.

Of course, I voted so much yesterday that mine dropped into the 60s, so I'm trying to let my account sleep on votes today.

Sort:

oh ok, thank you so much for taking the time to help me out

No problem. I will tell you that your voting power only comes back at 20 percent a day, so you migt want to plan some content or make comments on other people's posts and let yourself recharge a bit.

oh i didn't know that, thanks again, i will do that

I looked at your post and found it helpful so have an upvote. It seems that around 200sp is needed to make a one cent dent in that dollar box. I'm saving all my pennies!
