very cool intiative. But as many have commented, it would surely attract opportunistic cheats. And even if we are able to weed out the true from the false, there's no guarantee that the earnings of that post will go to the intended person (assuming the person in need is not the post-author but someone he/she knows).
But still, we just have to have faith in the honesty of people. There are still plenty of honest folks around and more who needs help. Hope those cheats will not abuse the misfortunes of others.
Anyway, I know some (say our house help, driver, nanny, etc...) who always need something but I'm sure there are others whose needs are more dire. So instead of submitting my own post, I would rather comment the #hendrix22lovesyou tag in a post if that post is requiring financial assistance, medical bills, or a teenager's post to augment her tuition. Is that ok? :)
