I had many trying things occur in 2017..and my mother said what a horrible year it was. I sat and thought for a while and then realized Mom!!! not once did we even mention all the wonderful things that happened each year. So many days and so many moments of good things and great things. I have come to realize that the older we get the more not so good things happen. Alas that is life. We do not live in the garden of eden. If everything was always good all the time would we appreciate it the same way. It is how we grow. Look at the tall and mighty oak. 40 feet high in the sky. How many storms has this oak weathered and yet it is still standing in all its glory. Be that mighty oak. Best of all I lived through it all to tell you about it. I am still here and standing strong.

Although it certainly was a challenging year I never doubted I'd make it through. And yep, we are still here to tell about it LOL This year feels right and we can make it anything we want it to be :) And may peace BE the journey!
