I couldn't decide between olive oil and avocado for a long time. Both are super healthy, but they are used differently. I like olive oil, especially extra virgin, for its taste - I add it to salads, pasta, even just on toast. It is rich in antioxidants and is considered good for the heart. But if you need to fry something at a high temperature, then avocado oil wins. It has a high smoke point, and you can safely cook without fear that the oil will spoil. Plus, it is also full of healthy fats and vitamin E.
