Have you heard of the wonder bean called Mucuna pruriens (Fabaceae) AKA velvet bean? I know most people have not heard this before. Velvet bean is an aggressive annual climbing plegume growing in china,Asia and now Africa. It is an established herbal drug for management of male infertility and nervous disorder. Its was being used in other countries to treat Parkinson disease. Its why I have brought it here because most people here are affected by some condition associated with nervous disorder in not infected.
Some people use its pods for food.Animals too can feed on this bean leaves.
Half of this wonder plant medicinal value has yet to be known. Please make sure you don't stop here but keep research. Who know it may be the savior when the Covid keeps mutating?
Thank you for going through.
Those are large beans! Most beans here are boiled or steamed. It looks like a good choice to grow.
