Many Mistakes Mages Make: Talking about a Hero’s Road

When it comes to the path a hero takes, there’s really not one true way to go. Talk to a room of people on what makes a teacher, you’ll have a room full of different answers. This sort of thing makes a hero’s path somewhat abstract.

So of course we “shouldn’t” talk about it, right?

In actuality, the experiences we have just won’t make sense to people who haven’t gone through them. New awarenesses come from this kind of path, and they are just kind of different to understand from what we’re used to, such as long-term survival and generational thinking.

As far quantifying that path, we think it’s more along the lines of collecting a set of experiences to act as foundation for the next set. No one person is gonna know the way for everyone, because everyone has a different starting point. Sometimes the best we can do for each other is show them where we have already been. Other times, it might mean making an effort to map things out for other people to follow.
