My dream is to upvote every thoughtful comment on my posts, and to reward people who take the time to look at my pictures. But it's so easy to burn through my voting power now, it's crazy. As a minnow, I don't know if my strategies will change to earn enough vests to get my slider. I hope that it doesn't mean that the strategy becomes for minnows to comment only on whale votes hoping for payout, hoarding their votes as bribes for each other.
I have optimism, but I'm rethinking how best to approach this.
For sure @crimsonclad I'm with the same feeling for upvoting. Great content, and timespent for our steemians to be more knowledge, enjoy great art, photography, and food etc. Good reply with feeling. And I think the update (hardfork) just helps people comment more, and hopefully more interesting, meaningful comments.
Now that my vote actually feels worth something, I definitely intend to focus my voting on unknown people not actually getting exposure for high quality writing. I'd much rather make a post go from $0.00 to $0.08 than from $100 to $100.08.

I'm really into progressive and avant-garde stuff, especially of the black and death varieties. Gorguts, Krallice, Kayo Dot, etc. Anything Colin Marston is involved with is gold. I also just like some big fat stoner metal riffs every now and then, love me some Torche and Elder.
