I will keep this post short and sweet, as it’s just a little shout out to the developers of this platform
There has been a lot of fuss lately regarding HF19, and whether it would help the minnows. I personally couldn’t decide what side of the debate is was standing. So I kept quiet and waited it out.
I knew the HF19 would be implemented today, but I wasn’t sure exactly when. So I just wrote my post and posted as I normally do. I don’t know why but I took a screenshot of my posts right after posting. Nothing spectacular about it.
Low and behold, an hour later I checked again and the value of my posts had four-doubled.
In finishing, I would like to thank all the developers that made this possible, I really appreciate that you gave us minnows such a great opportunity to grow within the Steemit community. I think this will lift the whole platform and incentivize many new users to join.

I got half of the voters I usually have and it seems they were mostly bot generated votes.
Payouts look good but I am more interested in views and more voters especially if you count so many followers

I continually try get my posts out to as many as possible. The the things that drives me are helping, learning and having fun. Earning money is just a side bonus :)
A very very nice bonus though at the moment. I just tested how much I would give, if I would put full power = 7.13 with 40% voting power. Thats not too bad at all. Continue to have fun !

Haha, well I'm far from that on Steemit, but this gives me hope :) My name is more of my general attitude towards gaining wealth and how people generally expect it to be hard. I like to think that choices in life and spending especially are what make or break you :)

I am happy about the outcome of HF19, my payout also increase. I am feeling at least I am earning something from my post which I took time and effort to write.
I think indeed the small users, which are 90-99% of all users on the platform is helped by the new linear vote curve. Lets see what the impact really is after all the whales start voting again. I also appreciate it very much to see quite a few new initiatives on the platform by Dolphins and Whales to support authors and commenters.
Although it looks cool to be able to cast extreme powerful votes with the increase of factor 4 of vote power when using 100% of the power, I think this should not have been implemented. I even see whales voting for their own comment with their full power. But then again, I must admit, I also voted for some of my own comments (this is not what I like to do, but sometimes I feel my posts undervalues); But most of my vote power goes to others and I concentrate generally on the tiny minnows.
