All this hiking is training for my 2,258 mile hike across 14 states this coming April...
My Jeep helps me get into those hard to reach places.
I love my Jeep, so much fun.
This old train track looks like a wild roller coaster ride from the ground.
Me tromping through some snow to check the amazing view.
Even as an adult icicles still never cease to amaze me.
Can you see my Jeep? ...hint (center)
Later in the day...due to the expected meteor shower I decided to do some night hiking. So, I headed up Rattle Snake Ridge. (you can see photos of it during the day in a previous post of mine.)
P.S. Hiking in actual snow clothes is rough, lol.
Little back story here... there is this giant boulder at the head of the trail. Once while heading up on a hike here someone had propped a log between it and the ground to make it look like it was holding up the boulder. It was no longer there last night so I hunted down a new log in the dark to replace it. It made me laugh, hopefully someone else will get a kick out of it.
Below you can't make out much aside from the lights from town...still looked cool though.
The wind was insane, sooo most of my photos turned out like this. lol
After all the coldness I encountered I HAD to have a hot chocolate night cap. Mmm
Thanks for checking out my post, any love is greatly appreciated if you liked it...comment or up-vote.
