HIMALAYAN CLEANUP - ZERO WASTE

Himalayan Mountains - Includes Mount Everest, the world's highest peak.It attracts many tourists and tourism acts as a main role in the dirtiness of Himalayan Mountains.For the cleanliness of the Himalayan Mountains, Himalayan Cleanup and Zero Waste campaigns were started on 26 may, 2018.

It has to cleaned because it consists of many Religious places and affects next visiting tourism.The waste things found there were plastic polythene, tin, waste tents, empty oxygen cylinders, chips(lays) packets and many more.

Many volunteers, as part of the Himalayan Clean-Up 2018, collected a total of 987 kg of waste - Dehradun (571 kg), Dharamsala (288 kg), and Corbett (128 kg), Dehradun hosted 144 volunteers, Corbett hosted 35 and Dharamsala 21 volunteers.

These resources are said by non-profit organisations.

                   

Now, its clean after this campaign ..

Moral - We should go to these hill stations or wherever we go we must take care of the surroundings and environment. Because we have not taken this earth from our forefathers but we have borrowed from our next generations.
