Back in 1961 General Dynamics ran a few ads in the National Geographic Magazine, such as this one, that implies somehow that they are working on weather control technology, but are well short of details. More like apocalyptic warnings coupled with the promise of fantastic progress for Mankind. I wonder what they're selling, besides acceptability?
I'm a big fan of these kind of ads, they allow us a glimpse into a future that is at the same time our own, and yet has not really existed.
Obviously I am not the owner of this ad, and do not claim ownership (although I do own a paper print of it).
Peace.
