Wow, way to make me feel old huh? I had so many trapper keepers it isn't even funny. Stupid things would fall apart after one year so you had to. That dang plastic attached to the velcro flap would rip. I think my first one had cats on it. I remember Milli Vanilli for sure. What I really remember about this whole era was making fun of all the girls that were totally in love with NKOTB. Who knew they would still be around today. That's some staying power right there! This was a pretty sad and tragic story. I have to believe they made a decent amount of money that they didn't lose so if they had managed things right or known a little better, they probably still could have lived decent lives even after the whole debacle.

I know for a fact that NKOTB are still around because some high school friends of mine recently posted that they went to a concert recently. I think it is safe to say that it was a significantly smaller venue than back in 1989 though.
Trapper Keepers were the shit. I don't imagine they are still around. I mean, if i saw one tomorrow i would buy it, especially if it has Milli Vanilli on it.
I think my wife went to see them when they were touring with some other boy band. I can't recall though. Yeah, I loved all the pockets and places to put your pencils and stuff. They were pretty awesome.
