Whether religious or not the bible is full of incredible and miraculous stories. As expected over time scientific knowledge and a healthy dose of skepticism have begun to study these events and to provide their own explanation of what science has to say of these stories. For this same reason here I leave 10 Bible events against science.

3.- GOLIAT

The story of David defeating the giant Goliath is the original story of the oppressed but it could actually have been that David had the upper hand. Several scientists believe that it is probable that the mountroso Goliath could have suffered some kind of gigantism like that of acromegaly. This condition would have caused Goliath to grow to its enormous size. But it would have weakened him, too. Acromegaly can cause severe arthritis as well as vision problems which would make him a not so powerful warrior.

2.-Burning Bush

According to Exodus Moses saw a shrub that was on fire but did not turn to ash. This also proclaimed that Moses had been proclaimed by God. Some physicists think that this occurrence has a totally non-miraculous explanation. According to his theory the bush grew on a volcanic vent that could have spontaneously burst into flames since acacia shrubs are known to create extremely effective charcoal. This may have appeared to burn endlessly in the presence of Moses.

1.- The Separation Of The Red Sea

The story of Moses is one of the most famous events in the Bible. Here, with the help of God Moses, the Red Sea would be buried to allow the Israelites to escape from Egypt. Scientists however believe that the event is far from miraculous and is a completely natural process. In 2010 with elaborate computer simulations scientists discovered that sustained winds during a stretch of the Red Sea could have momentarily caused the water to retract. This phenomenon is known as wind presipitacion.
