North Sentinel island in India is inhabited by a tribe that is believed to still not have discovered fire. Yes, in 2016.

The government has created a 3 mile exclusion zone around the islands to 'preserve their innocence'. The inhabitants will try to kill anyone who tries to come ashore, as the crew of a ship that ran aground near the island in 1981, realized.
