First off: "Double Freak". No!. The album was named "Double Fantasy". Second, its weird you use the term " left-wing" over and over again when describing Lennon's work. His Imagine song wasn't really political. It was anti-political. It was anti-ISM. It was art and encourage the listener to think outside of all these systems. Calling it left-wing is just a projection. Lastly, I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "something happened after...". You seem to only mention this album sale. From my point of view, a lot more happened after his death. It was a major, epoch, event.
