No one more detests the violence and horrors associated with the Nazis, and Hitler, than I.
However, Genrikh Yagoda personally killed more than 10 million people in the Holodomor, and in total, the Bolsheviks killed more than 65 million people, most by starvation, just prior to, and during, WWII.
I understand that this information isn't as hyped in our education system, or in media. However it is we that must ferret out truth when propaganda tries to paper over reality with lies intended to manufacture our view of the world.
The Holodomor devastated Ukraine in a genocide of unprecedented proportion in the time when it's neighbor Germany was in the devastating financial meltdown caused by the Treaty of Versaille. The rise of Hitler, and antisemitic sentiment, when Bolsheviks like Ilya Ehrenberg were calling for the murder of a German man every day, and the rape of a German women every night, wasn't only predictable, it was the only rational response of a nation reduced to starvation, and watching the genocide in their neighbor Ukraine.

I don't say that Jews are evil, or genocidal. I personally know many Jews as friends, whom I know to be good people, who are against genocide and all forms of evil.
It is easy to understand how the German people became convinced Jews were the problem, and why Hitler rose to power as a result, given what was happening to them at the time.

Edit: I am posting to counter the misinformation the the Nazis committed the worst genocide in history. I am not dismissing the Holocaust. It just has been propagandized until people think nothing worse has ever happened.
In the 1990's over 10 million died the the Congo as a result of genocide intended to deliver natural resources to western corporations, resulting in almost twice as many dead as the Holocaust's inflated estimates. This is almost unreported in the media.
