Once, in ancient times in Kuta Blang blue area, live a married couple who have long been married but have not had children. Day and night they pray and try to get the offspring, but they have not got the desired result. Until one day they both make a promise to God, My God, if You give us offspring, then we will not let his skin touch the ground before he married.

Not long after that, the wife pregnant. After the end of the month, was born a beautiful little baby girl and given the name Nyak Ni. According to their promise to God, Nyak Ni was not allowed to tread her feet on the ground until she married, so her parents made a house on stilts so that little Nyak Ni could not reach the ground. That way, Nyak Ni only plays at home every day and she has no friends other than chicken and duck livestock she can only see through doors and windows.

Nyak Ni grew into a teenager. Her parents have told her why she always has to be inside the house. They ordered Nyak Ni to cling to their message not to step down from their modest stage house until she married.

Until finally it's time Nyak Ni got married. His parents set him up with the next-to-die village virgin that could be expected. They then plan to make a big party by inviting all the relatives and villagers next door. And they prepared all kinds of necessities.

It is the habit of the Acehnese that drying the rice before pounding it into rice is a must. So it is with Nyak Ni's parents. On a sunny day, Mrs. Nyak Ni's mother had plenty of rice in the yard. But suddenly at noon, they both had to go for a need. So Nyak Ni lived alone in the house along with the rice being dried. His parents advised to keep the rice from the chickens and the greedy ducks they had. As a means of repellence, Nyak Ni's parents placed a long pole stick at the bend of the hilt at the door of the house.

Nyak Ni follows her parents' message, she keeps the rice well. However, a few moments later, there came a large swarm of cattle and ducks scrambling to enjoy the sea of gold-colored beans that were dried in the sun. Nyak Ni swung the pole but the cattle did not move. They continue to eat the grains. Nyak Ni panicked, he did not know what to do. Then he went into the kitchen to get something he could throw to chase the chickens out. The plates and bowls that he had all thrown but the animals did not move. While the rice is getting less, Nyak Ni increasingly panicked so forget the message of his parents. He came down from the house. Stirred his feet on the ground for the first time, drove the chickens out.

A bright afternoon suddenly colored by lightning. Instantly the sky turned dark and the rain poured down. The soil at the foot of Nyak Ni was suddenly flabby and watery and the water taller. Nyak Ni can not move. He was about to run to reach the house but not until. While the water is getting taller and taller. Nyak Ni drowns in it, along with her house too. When his parents came home, they could find nothing but deep water. Nyak ni has failed to carry out the message of his parents. Everything is now without the remainder, the only remaining puddle deep water grief both parents. Therefore the brackish is called Paya Ni.
