Here are some pictures that I have created with the help of artificial intelligence and are supposed to bring the shamanism a little closer and in this post I would like to go into the connection with the blacksmiths. Shamanism is a worldview that uses mystical practices to combine natural and supernatural things and originally the term shaman originally comes from Tungusic language and means as much as one who knows. It is about achieving higher or trance like states of consciousness in order to connect with the spiritual world and for this a shaman uses several practices or rituals and the practices are also about healing people from their diseases or awakening their supernatural abilities. In shamanic rituals, different elements are often connected to each other and often uses the power of plants or trees and is deeply rooted worldwide and it is a very extensive topic with different definitions. The blacksmiths are often found in the mythology of different cultures around the globe and are often brought into contact with supernatural abilities as well as various occult practices or healing arts. In some cultures, the blacksmiths also practiced shamanic practices and one of the most important elements of the forgings is fire to be known and to control it and they used this in ritual practices and also in shamanism fire is of great importance and both were able to tame the fire.

In shamanic rituals, fire was often used as a kind of medium to come into contact with higher worlds or the divine or associated with transformation and for the blacksmiths fire was important for the transformation of metals and here you can also see many connections to alchemy. The next similarities can be seen when it comes to the art of healing and the forges were already known in the past to be able to perform miracles and to heal people and the hammer that meets the anvil can create harmonious frequencies with which people can be healed and also in shamanism the power of frequencies such as singing or instruments were used to heal others. In many cultures, the blacksmiths are also known as artists and musicians and carry out shamanistic practices and often the blacksmiths have also pursued additional work as shamans. Also in Africa there are some legends where the blacksmith is associated with shamanism and legends appear again and again in different cultures in which the blacksmiths use occult or mystical practices and these two topics often go hand in hand and if you generally want to learn more about the history of the blacksmiths, I can recommend this article from me here.
