Interesting. The connection of the secret societies to these Egyuptian gods fascinates me. I had a great uncle who was in Knight's Templar (I think... the one with the red cross over a white shield), and the back side of his insignia pin has Anubis on it. A cross on the front, Anubis on back... seems odd to me!

Well there is a lot of interesting history regarding the Knights Templar too.
Many have hypothesised that they found historical records/artifacts that contradict the teachings of the Christian belief system when excavating in the holy land on the first crusades. There is also plenty of circumstantial evidence to suggest that the Essenes community that the man known now as Jesus Christ was part of had links going back to ancient Egypt! Incredibly interesting stuff mate.
If you are interested in that you should read a book called The Hyram Key and the subsequent writings of the same authors, It'll blow your mind dude.
I will check into it. I have delved pretty deeply into the topic but have not read that. Are you familiar with Brien Foerster on youtube? He does wonderful hidden / forbidden archaeology tours of Egypt and other megalithic and monolithic ruins. Fascinating man!
You are talking about the Pharonic Knight Templars that on returning from the crusades with millions in stolen gold set up Switzerland in 1291 ! They now control the world through secretive and often nefarious means ! Look up on Youtube "Octogon the Empire of Darkness ! "You will find some answers there on all this ! The red cross is known as the collpased pyramid, as indeed if you take a pyramid and unzip all four corners and push down upon the apex and collapse this form you get the Octogonal Cross of the Knights Templars ! As indeed the national flag of Switzerland is the same but with a reveresed as ever or mirrored imagery where the colour of the cross and background are exchanged ! As always with these people the truth is always hidden in plain veiw to keep you blind @fishyculture !
Never heard that "unzipped pyramid" thing before either... lol! I thought I was pretty well versed, but there is always room to learn more!
