RE: Fun Facts About Smallpox: Mummies, Human Trafficking, and Benjamin Franklin

in #history6 years ago

Howdy sir madgoat! wow, who would have thought that it would take so much to get the concept of vaccines accepted? And the Chinese knew about it in 1,000 A.D. I didn't know smallpox was so deadly, is that still around?

Anyway, this is so cleverly written but so interesting at the same time and the images are great! lol.
I like that list of deadly diseases that we don't have to worry about and I'm curious to know what you find out about the anti-vaxxers movement!

Sort:

Smallpox, thankfully, is completely gone as of 1980, thanks to vaccines.

I'll give you a sneak peek at the next episode. Anti-vaxxers claim the pharmaceutical industry pushes vaccines for money, but the truth is they are super expensive so most are dropping them and if any global shit hits the fan, there are hardly any companies left making vaccines.

howdy sir madgoat! oh...that's very sobering. That might be a challenge to turn into something funny but I have faith in you! lol.
