Pavel Mariev Lukyanovich, a national hero

Pavel Lukyanovich Mariev-the national hero, the politician and the Director of the center of career equipment, is the second person whom put to the greatest award of the country "Hero of Belarus". In addition to this title, he has other merit, which we now discuss.

The future hero was born on June 16, 1934 in the village of Dulovo near Yaroslavl. After graduating from school, he entered the automatic College of Yaroslavl, choosing an unusual profession – automobile structure. At the age of twenty-two years he was employed in the Ural automobile plant and held the position of a technician-designer.

Already in 1959, Paul Lukyanovich returned to Belarus and took a job at a local factory on manufacture of cars. His unique design abilities were noticed almost immediately, which served the rapid career growth of Paul. To 72-year he managed to take a few decent posts in the factory. He was appointed senior technician, later head of the Department of mechanization, he was chief technologist and engineer. He worked tirelessly, and managed to study and in the same 72nd graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic University.

The position of General Director of BelAZ came to Paul Lukyanovich already in 1992. the place of the head behind him there were as many as sixteen years. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, he was appointed to the Joint Institute of mechanical engineering of the national Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Here he receives a administration of the chair of the center for mining equipment.

In addition to a successful career and core activity, Pavel Lukyanovich devoted some time to science and politics. The fruits of his practice were twenty-eight scientific papers co-authored by several well-known scientists, a pair of copyright works, as well as two patents. Was a Deputy of the Minsk regional Council and the city Council of Zhodzina. It is in this city that Mariev achieved the greatest results in his work.

Working as the General Director of the Zhodino automobile plant (from the 92nd year), Mariev had to face a number of unpleasant moments in practice. When the technology used became unusable, not enough materials for the job, and supply contracts have become quite rare, Paul Lukyanovich made a very important decision. It consisted in carrying out a global modernization of all obsolete equipment, which was financed by several foreign banks, of course, under the state guarantee.

The idea was risky for the institution, because BelAZ could go bankrupt, leaving people without employment. However, after a major modernization of Belarusian equipment produced at the plant beginning to grow rapidly in popularity, and even abroad.

For his extraordinary love for his work, dedication and incredible results in the development of the domestic automobile structure, Mariev was awarded the title Of "hero of Belarus". Ceremonial presentation of the order took place in June 29th of 2001.

In addition to the order, Marieva was awarded the title of honorary citizen of Zhodzina for his contribution to the development of the city. Among his awards are also available: a badge of Honor, order of Friendship of Peoples and of the Fatherland of the third degree.

Despite the fact that Mariev received his awards as a selfless workaholic who managed to contribute to the development of enterprises, his services are considered exclusively state scale. Paul Lukyanovich had not committed the actual deeds, but was an example of incredibly hard-working man who wants to be in our time.
