Dior was born in the middle earth of Tolkien. It is not known exactly which year Dior was born. Dior became the ninth steward of Gondor in 2412 of the third age. In the time of Dior, Sauron did not attack Gondor. And Sauron was making the final preparations to attack Gondor. Dior died in 2435 of the third age.
