Red Fort Delhi (India)

Red Fort of Delhi is a historical fort, which is the pride of India as well as Delhi. This fort was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty for nearly 200 years, until 1857. Along with the Mughal Empire's emperors and the hanging of their family, it also became a formal and political center for the Mughals.images (22).jpg
The Red Fort is a very old and must-see tourist spot in Delhi. The Red Fort is made of red marble and spreads around 250 acres. The workmanship made in it is very beautiful.images (24).jpg
Every year lakhs of tourists reach hearts to see it from all over the world. To protect this historical property of the country, the Government of India looks after it for 24 hours.

The beginning of the construction of the Red Fort was the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, on 13 May 1638, on the day of Muharram on the festival of Muslims. It was designed by the best architect of that time, Ustad Ahmed.

The Red Fort is situated along Yamuna river and the whole fort is surrounded by three sides. It is situated near the Salimgarh Fort of Delhi.

On August 15, every year on the occasion of Independence Day, the Prime Minister of India hoists the national flag in the Red Fort. There are lots of places to see in the Red Fort such as Rang Mahal, Mumtaz Mahal, Khasam Mahal, Hammam, Shah Burj, Diwan A Special, Nahar A Biswas. The workmanship made in this was done by very fine craftsmen.

Sheesh Mahal is situated in the northern and southern parts of the fort. There is a very beautiful and well-designed special castle which was specially made for the emperor, especially for personal use such as worship and gold.images (25).jpg
A beautiful balcony on the river Yamuna has also been constructed which is made of white marble. Also a beautiful Peacock Throne has been built.

There is also a Shah Burj, which was built to relax and also for the private conventions of the emperor. A Moti Masjid is also a place built by Emperor Aurangzeb in the palace, in which there are 3 beautiful dome which is very grand in appearance.

In the northern part of the Moti Mosque, Hyatt Baksh i.e. is a beautiful garden styled that was built by Shah Jahan. There is also a Shahi tower of Shah Burj where there were also large royal banquets used.

The Red Fort would definitely go out because it is a part of our history and we also get to learn a lot from there.

HISTORY OF RED FORT:-
After Aurangzeb, Jahan Shah ruled the Red Fort in 1712. He was murdered only one year later, and Pharrukshiyar captured the Red Fort and changed all the silver roof to copper. After that in 1719 Muhammad Shah captured. In 1739, Nadir Shah defeated the Mughal army easily and looted Mayur Singh. In 1760, the Marathas melt the silver roof of the Diwan-A-special, Ahmad Shah Abdali After that, the British East India Company defeated the Maratha army in 1803. The Mughal king, Bahadur Shah II, ruled the Red Fort in the last. He defeated the British in 1857, but he could not rule there for a long time. After that the British captured the Red Fort and robbed all the precious things by breaking the many palaces of the palace. Tips Before Visiting Red Fort India

Hold the water with you as it is forbidden to take food in it.Be careful with the brokers and the thieves.Purchase the price at the Chatta Chowk and buy it because everybody wants a very high price of the merchandise.You can also buy lots of sari because Chandni Chowk market sits on the road from the Red Fort on the road next to the road where you will get all the things available.images (27).jpg
