This is one reason I don't care for films in light of a genuine story. It's typically so distant from reality that you lose site of what truly happened. They are deluding and they sugar coat everything. History is being lost for excitement. The quest for information is not any more a thing. Individuals get hung up on what they need to see or what influences them to chuckle or feel great they never again think about what really happened to individuals and the terrible things they experienced

This is somewhat typical with movies. In showing one facet, they only get part of it right. I don't think that's a reason to avoid them, but it's important to remember the context and bigger picture also.
