This is an interesting story. maybe back then the chipmunks didn't get rabies. And sounds like she slept with a lot of men. Surprised she ended up living so long.
You are right as far as her childhood. Tough go of it.

oh my gosh, birth control would have saved those women so much trouble! And I feel sorry for the kids they had!
